From cask@The Blue Blazer, Edinburgh. A thin layer of foam covering a reddish, golden colored body. Predominant apple juice aroma. Biscuity malts and peppery hops in the background. Taste is more fruity than malty; red berries and apples supported by some lightly toasted and bready malts. Oily mouthfeel. Short, fruity, peppery and slight hoppy finish.

Cask conditioned at The Marquess of Anglesey, Covent Garden, London. Served at cellar temperature. Amber colour, low head, moderate malty aroma with some oak, mellow rounded flavour, moderate but decent bitterness. A good pint!

On cask @ Bon Accord, Glasgow. The arom has light butter, vegetable. Clear, copper coloured beer with a thin, off-white head. The taste is not special at all.

Cask at the Spread Eagle, Albert Street, Camden Town. Amber with a small white head. Served rather cold. Malt aroma. Fruit taste with some late bitterness. Not particularly special.

On cask @ Bon Accord, Glasgow. Bit bitter, some malt. Some toast. Quite boring.

Cask at The Cask & Barrel, Edinburgh.
Amber coloured. Good old citric aroma. Light sweet and grassy with citric notes. Fresh beer overall with hints of chocolate.

Cask at the Thatched House, W6. Gold in colour with an off-white head; malty aroma; tangy and fruity flavours, some apple; then a moderate bitterness with some toast; and a sweet finish. A well-balanced, easy-drinking bitter.

Light golden-yellow colored beer, small copper tinge and a bit of white head. Aroma of leafy, dry hops, bits of apples and mint. Meaty malt in the background is also apparent in the flavor. A touch of sourness, almost like spoiled cream, though it isnt that bad. The hops cover it up quite well, being very herbal-grassy and giving more fruit notes. Good medium body, low carbonation.

Amber colour, no head. Hoppy aroma, fruity. Touch of caramel malts in the flavour. No bitterness, watery, but with a nice sourness.

Dark orange colored, little yellow head. Soft aroma with flowery tone, still not too rich one though. Medium bodied. Flavor is also soft with thin bitterness, lemon and some metal come up in aftertaste. Soft palated, but not too good beer.
