3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500 ml bottle from Unimarc Los Leones. Pours a hazy orange color crowned by a medium sized white froth. Aroma is wonderfully hoppy, nice with clear floral notes and hints of orange, citrus and spices. I also get hints of light bready malts as the foundation for the hoppy tones. Taste is gorgeous, lightly bitter with sweet undertones. Citrusy hints give a wonderful refreshing sensation for this reasonably heavy ale. Body is medium and feels very solid in the mouthfeel. Alcohol is well-disguised. This one is another great, refined English ale I enjoyed a lot.

Dominant hops aroma, fruity taste, very nice delicately cloudy orange color, small ring of white head. Good carbonation. Full delight, never bored.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours orange-amber and clear. Just a small ring of foam. Aroma is citrus and bread flour with a hint of spice. There’s some citrus in the flavor, as well. Very bright, lively. Medium body. A bit of banana (or bubblegum?) on the finish, and a fair bit of burn.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear light amber with almost no head. Complex aroma with hints of lime. First hint of flavor is banana-candy sweet but it peaks and then tapers off into a nice hoppiness, leaving a bit of fire in the back of the mouth. Mouthfeel abrupt and short. Very intersting.

Draft. Clear Amber with big very creamy thick long lasting head. Light toasted malts, light dried fruits and a touch of bitter herbs in the finish. Light bodied watery feel. Ok.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thick foamy flotsam head subsided swiftly leaving little trace. Slightly cloudy reddish gold colour. Subtly sweet malt aroma after pouring. Taste not too rich bitter sweetness leading to a long lasting toasty citrus finish. Very well balanced and easy drinking.

Kind of like a British IPA. The bottle conditioning serves it really well. Nice and bitter. However, the aroma is a real problem on this one - like a dead bat that’s been urinated on by a tramp. I don’t know how its even possible for this to smell so bad because luckily the flavour is nice, with English hops that balance out solid maltiness.

Great beer! Beautiful ochre tinged Amber with a fine bubbled, white, long lasting head once you give it a vigorous pour. Moderate carbonation. Malty, saazy aroma I don't particularly enjoy. Wonderful, slightly sweet malty flavour with great complexity. The Saaz type hops flavour is complementary upon tasting.

Nice Ale. Brown colour. Caramel malts, floral citrus hoppiness. Some sweetnes in the light body.
