A very dark amber beer with a very fine head. It has a light fruity aroma. The flavor is smooth powerful and very nice, it contains fruit, wood and roast notes - and ends on a powerful bitterness - really a good winter beer.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown/reddish with a lacing tan head. Mild malt and spiced hops aroma. Solid malt base, caramel and toffee. Distinct hops spiced flavour on top. Subdued fruit note. Dry hoppy finish with a continued spiced note.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear, warm, orangey brown with a creamy, beige head. A little fruit and nuttiness in the aroma. Medium body with sweetish roasted malt, nuts and perhaps a little dried fruits. Ends lightly bitter. A nice and quaffable ale with a whiff of personality. 140308

Draught. Ruby red colour, big creamy beige head. Vegetables in aroma, weak hints of caramel too. Strong flavour of barnyardish malts and hops. Total crap from youngs, if it really should taste like this. Might be tap or the beer was spoiled too, must re-rate at some occasion at some other place.

Chestnut brown. Nicely, malty, toffee and sugar flavour, sweetish. Slightly bitter finish. Overall a good winter beer.

Clear red brown coloured with a small yellow head.
Aroma of malts, caramel and hops.
Flavour of malts, caramel and hops.
Hoppy finish.

Dark ruby colour with a tan head. Aroma of caramel and malt and some fruitiness. Malty warming flavor with some hints of caramel. Has some hints of bitterness in the aftertaste.

Deep amber color. Malty, hoppy, grassy. Smooth, light sweetness, very good malt, a lot of soft caramel, grassy, with a strong bitterness arising at the end. A smooth Bitter, softer.

Ruby color, beautiful creamy head. Light aroma. Better taste, quite structured, with some malt and ending with a correct bitterness.

Bottle, 5.2%. Aroma of dark malts, slightly sweet. Clear dark brown colour, red shine. Small stable, creamy light brown head. Mild carbonation. The flavour is also quite mild, a little malt with a faint roasted note. Very drinkable without being too boring.
