This is 5.2% now according to the bottle. Poured an amber color with a small white head. Aroma was a little spicy and earthy with some ice tea flavor. A littel cardboardy flavor to it. Overall was a little bland. Probably not one i would pay for.

Jul 31, 2008 cherry cola aroma, thick creamy head, dark toffee body. thin, very clean, hardly any body. slight hazelnut hint of hops way back in the finish.

Jul 15, 2008 bottle. Pours amber brown with smallish head. Aroma is sweet malits, bourbon? and hint of sourness. Flavor is caramel, roasted malts but not too strong. Full bodied with dry finish. Not remarkable for its type but a drinkable beer nontheless.

Jun 27, 2008 ..a unique winter ale in that it is not heavy in taste not strength....wouldnt even really call this a winter beer, should be called a brown ale and available year round....very good

Jun 21, 2008 bottle thanks to KJ’s in Lake Dallas, TX. poured a hazy copper color with a beige head and little retention. aroma had good notes of carmel. flavor was sweet with a little bitterness. carbonation was med-high. a little more bubbly than i was expecting out of a winter warmer.

Jun 8, 2008 Large fawn coloured head on a dark red/brown coloured ale,good carbonation.Aroma malted and cooked hops and barley.Flavour,bitter,creamy,oily taste okay,not a lot of other flavours,caramel(smooth)fruit taste may be yeast.Finish,malty,mild bitter,dry,not the best.
