Bottled. Hazy brown in colour, minor white head. It has a bitter sour aroma. The flavour is a mixture of christmasfruits and malt. It has a hoppy finish

Lubiere (9731) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 10, 2005
Dark golden ale with a thin white head. Grassy and peppery aroma, a bit unpleasant. The resinous grass stays in mouth, with a bit of cattiness and light hops. Very thin. Mildly interesting. Bought at Delhaize, Brussels, April 2005.

Copper brown color, good creamy white head. Ryeish malty nose with hints of caramel. Grassy, woody hoppy flavor with toffee notes. Quite watery. Short light metallic and hoppy finish.

sayravai (4667) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 25, 2005
(Bottled) Slightly hazy reddish amber color with a small, fading head. Toffee-yeasty-caramely-hoppy aroma, something remotely like Orval - although sweeter and not nearly as complex or strong. Bitter, flowery-hoppy, slightly sweet flavor with some toffeeish maltiness. A bit cardboardy and dull, but ok. Light to medium-bodied palate with slightly fizzy-foamy carbonation. The aroma is nice, but there’s not much else going on.

schuimkroaat (413) - Leuven, BELGIUM - NOV 16, 2005
25 cl bottle, bbe Oct 06. Dark amber (reminds of a dark whisky), clear, some bubbles, weak frothy head. Aroma of a watery pils, some hops, sweetish. Taste: sweetish-neutral, grainy with honeyish notes, light hoppy aftertaste. Medium body, some tickling on the palate, refreshing mouthfeel.

tiggmtl (4548) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 13, 2005
Fruity, cake-like yeast in the aroma. Hazy golden-copper coloured body with low but lasting, creamy, off white head that lasts and laces. Grassy herbal hops overwhelm the somewhat stale malt flavour and cakey yeast. Fair to moderate carbonation doesn’t last and leaves the medium-light body feeling rather watery and still. Bottle sampled at Den Tatorverede Enke in Copenhagen.

Draught: Amber with a strange white lumpy off white head. Fresh grain and bread aroma. Very grainy astringent flavour. Watery, and not good.

(RBESG05, draft at Den Tatorverede Enke) Clear amber body topped by a big creamy beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, grain, light fruit (orange), light metallic. Medium sweet, light orange, light metallic. Watery light body, some creaminess. Thin and bland.

On tap at Den Tatorverede Enke during RBESG 05 pub crawl. Orange beer, with a thick, scummy head. Very watery taste, with a bit of cardboard and paper. Very faint wheaty malt aroma. This is not good at all.
