Grass and herbs aroma. Amber color, off-white head, good lace. Grass and herbal flavor, hoppy, light bitter, sweet (bit too sweet), medium body. Reminded me a of John Martin's Pale Ale.

Tap, ZBF 2004. Gold, thin off white head, moderate condition. Discrete maltiness in the nose, thin in the mouth with a low fruity maltiness and a bittersweet edge. Trace hop in the finish, and a sudden afterthought of butterscotch just when I thought it had died. Easily forgetable.

[Draft at ZBF 2004]An amber beer with a small off-white head that quickly disappears. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of yeast. The flavor is of caramel, yeast, malt, and roasted bread on a sweet background. An OK beer without being special.

(Draught) Light amber, white head, fast dwindling but lacey. Peanuts and roasted malts in the nose. Again roasted malts in the taste, some marzipan-sweet crystal, and some oxidation. Light to meium bodied. Thank God this beer misses the metallic Leroy "finishing touch". Reverse of the coin - ain't anything else. Drops dead.

Lots of grapefruit and hops in the taste (it is an ale, not a fruitbeer!). A bit tart. Full-bodied. Served too cold to detect much aroma. A delicious beer!
