33 cl bottle at home. Pours a clear blonde with a large white head which soon disappears. Very little aroma, maybe some sweet grain. Taste is initially a little sweet, with some balancing bitterness. Average carbonation with a nice chewy grain background. Overall, quite pleasant but not outstanding.

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours blonde with good white head. Floral aroma. Taste verges slightly on the sweet side for a Belgian Strong Ale with hints of vanilla and a touch of spice. Quite nice.

A hazy, golden yellow coloured beer with a frothy white head. A heady, slightly floral hop aroma. There is also a hint of cracker malt. A medium dry, full mouthfeel. A potent, sour yeasty taste, and a meaty malt flavour. The sourness is bolstered by a hop flavour that lasts into the finish.

Bottle in Les Halles, central Ieper. Hazy gold pour with white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, quite spicy, metallic and grainy. Taste is grainy, metallic notes, grassy finish. Palate is medium bodied with good carbonation. Rather forgettable Belgian ale.
