neuromatt (1139) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 13, 2013
50 cL bottle from Cervezorama 2.0 in Madrid, served in a stem glass. Pours clear amber-orange with a tall, fluffy light tan-coloured head that mostly remains. The nose has notes of grass, citrus, grains and toasted malts. The flavour starts out lightly sweet, with honey, caramel and toasted malts. It becomes slightly more bitter towards the end, with notes of grass, herbs, citrus rind and subtle pine thrown into the mix. The finish is moderate in length, but fairly clean, with just a touch of hops and subtle malts. On the palate, it is light in body with a dryish texture and average carbonation. Overall, this is a decent golden ale that is quite appropriate on a hot summer’s evening. 2013-06-27
