3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BiddleBrau (766) - Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 11, 2013pours a clear copper with thin white head. Aroma is a bit grainy some malt. There is an initial dry astringent bite followed by some malt profile then a finish not unlike Yuengling’s lager, slightly dry and harsh. Has a bit more umph than the lager but in a blind taste test, I might be able to call this as a Yuengling product. And while Vitamin Y has never been a world class beer, it is a beer that should be preserved and appreciated as America’s Oldest Brewery
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 beerscout (274) - New Windsor, New York, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with small thin off-white head. Aroma of malt, and brown sugar, with light caramel and flowery hop. Flavor was combination of hop up front, but largely malty bitterness, that diminished into watery and suds finish, bitter on the tongue at the end. Heavier in palate than the other varieties from this brewery, so it stands out as a bock.

Pours a clear gold/amber with a medium white head. Sweet caramel malt taste; a little biscuity. Good old-fashioned style American bock like those released each spring back in the 60s and earlier.
1.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20 Rotbart (155) - - MAR 16, 2013
Almost nonexistent aroma with a nice deep brown color but a quickly dissipating thin head. Flavor was washed out bitter and it had a very thin soapy finish. Very disappointed.
