A very impressive porter, especially considering its a domestic brew, nice malt flavor and pleasant hoppiness.

Pours a dark brown color with off-white almost tan head. Coffee, nuts, and roast on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with more roasted notes than anything else, a little cocoa sneaks in too.

MadRobin (2830) - Silver Spring, Alabama, USA - SEP 28, 2016
Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Opaque, brown-black with a 1-finger buffy-tan head and good lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, plums, licorice and chocolate with mere hints of roasted malt. Taste of toffee, chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, coffee and a very mild nuttiness. Medium/light body and high/medium carbonation. Sweeter, maltier and with a thinner mouthfeel than a typical porter. Not great, but not bad either. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
