Hance07 (170), DownSouth, Georgia, USA Jul 13, 2008 Pours dark brown with small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt with a touch of nuttiness. Flavor is also slightly roasted malts with a watery finish. I also get a bit of nuttiness in the flavor which reminds me of a brown ale more so than a porter. lithy (86), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 13, 2008 Black with glints of ruby and a light thin dark tan head. Light airy roasted aroma even away from the glass. Retains that metallic smell I find in all Yuengling products and a lot of the aroma is reminiscent of their Black & Tan. Not heavy on the tongue and only a little roasted character in the finish, disappointingly thing. NYCubfanbudman (4), , New York, USA does not count Jul 10, 2008 It tastes nothing like a porter, but it isn’t bad, either. It’s a perfectly serviceable summer beer, a notch better than regular Yuengling. Haslinger (464), Syracuse, New York, USA Jul 10, 2008 bottle, not a very goodporter, Too thin watery palate but left a good taste in the mouth. A good refreshing beer but not a good porter. Wouldn’t buy again but would drink again spagyetti (68), Puyallup, Washington, USA Jun 27, 2008 Bottle and tap. It’s only a "Ying"’ folks. Better than the rest of yuenglings products, but that’s not saying much. Simple and dark, for the experience only? Maybe.
