The guys at Yuengling finally took advantage of the Light beer market. A bit of a watered down lager taste, but much better than other Light beers.

Spinach and rotting piss aroma. Definitely a light beer. Not a big fan, only dashes of hints at the true Yuengling flavor... like a girl giving you a flash of her spagetti straps under her shawl, rather than rubbing up against you and looking in your eyes.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2007 This beer is light. REALLY light. I drank about 7 of them and then played world championship pickup sticks. It didnít make me the least bit drunk. I think the alcohol content is about .04 percent.
Also, the taste is about .04 percent. This is some watery, watery beer. You know those Amstel commercials where theyíre watering the lawn from a keg? This is whatís in the keg. Iím sure it would be great for beer pong (thatís beirut to you middle-easterners).
Anyway, if you like a light beer that is SERIOUSLY light, shoot yourself and stop reading ratings on ratebeer.com, but go get a 72-pack of this beer and chug until you get a buzz.

I donít like pils in general but when a friend drops by with a six pack, itís impolite to not drink at least one. While itís still close to water, this stuff actually tastes and smells like beer. I especially like the nutritional statement on the label. After all, beer is nothing more than drinkable bread.

Light lager nose with a copper colored body. White head which quickly dissipates. Malty with a light lemon flavor. Clean finish.

This tastes alot like the regular lager. It is pretty good and is by far the best light beer I have had. All the properties are of the lager, just lighter.

No head after the pour. Light corn and sweet honey aroma. Not much else. The taste is as expected. Nothing offensive. Minimal hops and some thin grass tasting malts. A decent brew that beats lots of BMC offerings. . Thanks civforprez for donating this beer.

THIS IS A LIGHT BEER. That stated, it is one of the best I have tasted. Comparing it to full lagers is not quite fair, but this one actually tastes better than itís full lager brother. This is my everyday beer, smooth, smells good and very consistent batch to batch. If youíre looking for a sub 100 calorie beer, I doubt you can find a better flavor.

A pretty decent light beer. I have always been a fan of all yuengling beers and this one didnít dissappoint me. Flavor was pretty good for light beer as well.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2005 The nose is a milder version of the grassy, earthen nose on the Lager. The tone is lightly golden with a decent white head that is a bit fizzy but actually laces a bit. Well, the tastes are very mild and the mouthfeel watery, but this beer is not much of a dropoff from its big brother, which is at least an average beer. There are none of the Lagerís acidic or syrupy drawbacks present in this one, and the very mild taste is at least pleasant and drinkable. Really, this is a top-of-the-line light beer, and considering Sam Adams Light has 130 caleries, this might be the best of the true light beers in America.
