Weak hoppy, rubbery aroma. No malt.Medium dark amber cleae with thin white head. Light watery body with medium-high head. Starts with little sweetness and general chemical acidity. Weak and watery, with no malt taste and very little hops. Odd fake dryness to finish and no after. Wasn’t expecting much, and this met my expectations.

excellent light, blows the doors off bud and miller. has its good day and its bad, depending on the brewery (from floridia or from pa)

The US light beer market is overpopulated with poor beers. This one, along with Sam Adams is an exception. Crisp taste, pale in color, this is a pleasant light alternative.

Definitely the best light beer that I’ve ever had...and I’ve had a few. I actually like this better than regular Yuengling lager. Go figure. Smells nice and tastes the same. If you like Yuengling lager, you’ll like this one. It may have a little less strength in the flavor, but depending on your perspective, that might be better...

Deep golden ,pours with a large white head that diminishes quickly but holds a small white ehad for about five minutes. Aroma of corn, malt and hops, slightly sweet. Flavor is sweet, malty, corny, but not overpowering.Mothfeel is light and creamy with a quicky crisp ending. A very nice light beer.

12 OZ. can: Clear amber with a fizzy quickly diminishing white head. Sweet corn aroma, watery slick mouthfeel, sweet ending. An excellent light beer, but still a crappy beer.

One of the better light beers, and not expensive. Amber color and a bit malty.

I’m gonna have to disagree with crzybob77 - of the three ’good’ lights according to crzybob, Yuengling is the least of these - the other two are Amstel and Sam Adams. First of all, he’s crzy, and secondly Yuengling is the best, folowed by Sam Adams, and then Amstel. The taste is malty, almost creamy smooth, and crisp. The palate is comforting like a good friend.

Overall, I thought this was a good light beer. It was inoffensive and somewhat pleasant to drink while vacationing in Ocean City. Smooth going down. All around decent light beer.

For the widely available light beers around me, i consider there two groups of light beers. The first is the cheap ones (miller, bud, and coors) and the good light beers (amstel, sam adams, and yuengling). Micholob light is kinda somewhat in between. Yuengling is a good light beer, but I rank it third in that catagory of good light beers. But, it is also the cheaper of the three, so still a good choice if you want a light beer with some taste.
