Yuengling generally does a great job of making a quality beer for a bargain basement price. Not so here; the taste is predominantly sour hops with a follow of carbonated water. I'll pass on this in the future.

over-carboniated. Had a nice frothy white head with a ugly light golden color too it. What it lacked in its malty aroma and bland taste departments, it made up for itself in the disappointment department. Go with bud light instead.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2003 i was disappointed in this beer. the taste was quite like a rolling rock---seltzer water. it's still better than most light beers out there and it does say something that a yuengling light tastes like a regular rolling rock. just drink this for the rating and move on.

A very good light beer. It helps if you drank the original just before though.

This tastes exactly like Chinese beer. Watery, bland, and unexciting. Yuck.

Too watery, but I wasnt expecting much else. Little malt flavor and nothing else.

Disappointed with this one, since I think Yuengling makes some great macrobrew. Watery, tastes like a weak version of the regular Lager...It doesn't help that I'm not a light beer fan, but just nothing special about it.

Surprisingly great for a light beer. I tried it in a can and a bottle. They are both excellent tasting. They taste like the regular lager without the watered down flavor like most lights. And it is only 99 calories. One of my new staples in my diet.

Sort of a typical light beer. Has some indications that this was once a Yuengling and not a Bud or something ... but light, small palate, and the usual too-little-malt, too-chemically taste of a light beer.

A "thinner" version of regular Yuengling lager. Less Flavor. If I were a light beer drinker, I would take Amstel or Sam Adams first.
