gnoff (7954) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - FEB 3, 2011
From tap (free sample, yay) after the (free, yay) brewery tour of the Tampa brewery site, on Feb 1, 2011
Clear yellow color, white head. Sweet, mineral, a bit fruity taste. Moussy mouthfeel, fairly low bitterness. Cream, malty, sweet scent.
Of the US light beers I’ve had, thismust be the best one so far. Didn’t mind it at all, can see myself buying it, well, if it was available that fresh, and in Sweden... Can’t say how it is from bottle or can though, but draught at the brewery was nice!

Bottle. Sweet stale barley aroma. Light golden yellow with small head. Very light sour barley malt flavor. Minimal taste and body.

Grainy smell, its a fucking american light lager, what are you expecting? Gold? No better than a BMC product and don’t kid yourself.

Ughsmash (7177) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 30, 2010
Bottled. Poured clear, light amber with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet toasted barley and a pinch of garbage water, with light fruit and earthy accents.. OK, but unsubstantial. The flavor found pale and bready malts at the core with a pinch of honey.. light, spicy fruit and floral bitterness on the edges.. finished quickly with a splash of honeyed malts and a dry graininess. Light-bodied and dry on the palate, balance was alright.. weak overall, but drinkable.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Tap at Philly airport. Better than BMC. Worse than most. Not offensive but very non-descript.

12oz bottle. Perfectly clear yellow color, minimal white head. An unpleasant slightly skunky nose-smell. Aroma is very watered down, a hint of white bread under there. Carbonation is sharp, but not actually overwhelming. Light body. There might be some other grains in here, perhaps rye. Taste is hardly there at all, maybe a bit savory, just mostly water. Nothing good nor bad about it. This light lager is what it is... Better than most other light lagers I’ve had

12 oz. bottle at Mynt, the kinda douchey clubby bar on Fountain Square in Cincinnati. Wasn’t here by choice, might as well grab a new rating. Pours a pretty good amber color for the style, with a white head. Notes of pale and amber malts, corn, straw, cereal, and diet tea - like an artificially sweetened, weak tea. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. The sweetener brings down an otherwise good take on the style.

Bottle 355 ml
Appearance :Amber gold brew with fizzy weak top 2-.
Nose : Sweet aroma of honey, sugar and grain. Rough set up.4-
Flavour/Palate : More of that in flavour. Honey like front, carbonated shallow middle with light grain-bitter finish (which was best of this brew). Thin sweeten lager, bad not horrible. Like David Hasselhoff singing Limbo dance….well not really.

Typical pale lager. Yellow with a light head. Watery taste with some peppery notes.
