arventresca (158), Greenville, North Carolina, USA Jun 9, 2008 Honestly considering that most Yuengling beers are fairly decent, this was disapointing even for a light. Thought it had a worst "fake" taste than even, must I say Bud Light. Light beer is bad and this may be the worst.
Leighton (19), Salisbury, Connecticut, USA Aug 28, 2008 So I found myself a sixer of Yuengling Light for $2.50 at a grocery store in Washington DC. One of the better investment decisions I’ve made recently (damned markets). It was a scorching hot day, the beer was cold, and I was refreshed. Think rooftop scene in Shawshank Redemption. As far as color goes, its basically clear. Very little aroma or head. Flavor is pleasant enough; very weak but enjoyable. If I ever find another $2.50 six-pack of these boys I’ll buy it for sure. MaltDawg (294), Richmond, Virginia, USA Aug 18, 2008 12 oz bottle from local grocery store. Slight carmelized malt and corn aroma. Clear golden amber with small white head. Sweet carmelized malt flavor with touch of floral hops but kinda flat and lifeless.. Crisp clean finish. Bella68 (12), Alabama, USA Aug 17, 2008 I’m looking for a solid light beer. This was okay, I mean, it would do. Amber color (my friend calls it, "liquid gold, baby"), thin, cream colored head that’s pretty much "light". Taste is okay, nothing extroardinary, just like you would "expect". gws57 (990), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Aug 17, 2008 Had this one canned thanks to Arnie!! Clear, bubbly yellow pour with a thick equally bubbly white head, very little nose to speak of, and not much more flavor. I know that it counts, but I really don’t like these light pale lagers at all. Trooper11 (442), Suffolk, Virginia, USA Aug 3, 2008 Clear yellow brew. Small head. sour grassy aroma. Mild corn mixed with water flavor. I guess that’s all I have to say about that.
