Light-medium bodied and light carbonation. Clear golden color. Slight skunky nose. Starts with a mix of sweetness and skunkiness, dull hoppy finish. Green 12oz bottle, gift, available at the Vintage Cellar Blacksburg, Va. beachbum25 (807), Powellville, Maryland, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 27, 2005 This beer poured a clear golden color w/a big foamy white head. If only it tasted as good as it looked. Somewhat hoppy aroma & taste up front, but just didn’t have a whole lot going on. It was ok, drinkable, but not much else. Had a long metallic finish. As someone who enjoys Yuengling Lager, I was somewhat disappointed by this beer. MacDaddyOJake (274), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 27, 2005 Smells a bit skunky coming out of the bottle, it reminded me a lot of Heineken. A less than average brew that tased a lot like a lager. Not bad, but this is not something that I would want to drink while relaxing or having a good beer with TV kinda beer. Easy to drink though because of its watery nature. nick76 (2695), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 23, 2005 Not bad but it tastes a lot like a lager. The aroma has floral hops and corn like malts. The appearance is pale golden with a small head. The flavor is malty with a medium bitterness. The palate is thin. It’s drinkable but pretty so-so. WISEGUY572 (1252), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 20, 2005 What a miserable brew. The least bad product from one of the worst breweries in Pennsylvania. Sweet and herbal, floral hops, with a touch of bitterness. Better than their regular brews, but I would rather drink water. crzybob77 (528), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 17, 2005 Aroma is sweet and grassy. I was actually suprised that a yeungling beer would have some hop flavor, but this certainly does. While it is certainly not a great beer, the added hops do make it much better than regular yuengling. Of all the Yuengling products this has the highest alcohol content. Its a nice ale to drink in the summer, Like all Yuengling products, I personally feel its best drank from the bottle. This is a good ale. ChazyRPh (571), Chazy, New York, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Dec 14, 2005 green bottle ... faintly yellow pour with standard white head. DMS aroma, some hop and citrus. Fairly bland, DMS kicks in, malty with a hint of hops. Overall unimpressive, wouldn’t care to drink again.
