I had it from the bottle. The aroma is grain and fruit. The taste is slightly sweet with a grainy quality to it. It’s crisp and dry. It’s a decent session beer. There’s not a lot going on. It’s inoffensive though.

My least fav yuengljng product, green bottle shocked maybe it always tastes inappropriately sour, and too Strawy. Slightly fruity sweet too

Grainy aroma which reminds me of a Czech Pilsner. Clear golden color with a fine film of bubbles for the head. Has a light grain and zesty taste. The light body is refreshing. Clean finish.

Bottle. Corn/barley malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Lightly sweet vegetal barley malt and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Decent body. Probably would have been a bit better if it wasn’t in a green bottle.

Clear darker yellow, lots of carbonizing. Big white lasting lacing foam head. Strong barley aroma, don’t like that. OK taste, not outstanding, barley and yeast dominated. (Chicago 201510)

Th beer pours a slightly hazy orangeish golden color with a small white head. The aroma has a strong dough yeast smell, but there is also a pale malt sweetness and a hint of fruitiness. The taste is mildly sweet and slightly sour, and the sweetness hits the tongue first with more sour, slinky, and even slightly fruity flavors developing later in the taste. The palate fuses a a slick texture, medium body, and a soft carbonation. Overall, it’s not bad, but it’s not too good either.

Younglings best entry. I must admit you will either love or have this. Fruity taste yet bitter. Each sip tastes different. The only Yuengling beer still made in original brewery. Only drawback is I get a headache from drinking it. That’s what ibuprofen is for

On tap at Taproom on 19th. Pours a clear gold with large frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is grass and wheat. Thin mouth with metallic flavor, wheat, skunky, decent.

Drank from a can. Crisp bitter taste. Slightly metallic, slightly malty. Medium high carbonation and lighter mouthfeel. Pretty bland stuff.

Transfer from BA review on 10-19-13- Poured from green bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a nice golden color with a two finger billowy white head. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a good level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – As may be expected from a green bottle, the brew has a bit of a skunky aroma. Along with the skunk are some aromas of a grainy nature as well as some smells of corn. Taste – The taste begins with a grainy and corny taste. While corny, the taste is not too sweet, but on the moderate side. The grain smooth’s out taking on a more bready flavor as the taste advances. Along with the transition of the grain to bread, there is also an increase in the hop, which too this point were very minimal. A bit of a grassy and herbal nature as well as a little bit of a hay like flavor are all present at the end leaving a lightly hopped, moderately sweet and smooth bready flavor, with only a hint of skunk flavor, to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is on the average to slightly creamier side for the abv and the style with a carbonation level that is on the slightly lower side. Both were decent for the brew, but nothing too exceptional. Overall – Not the best brew out there, but if it wasn’t in a green glass bottle it likely would have been slightly better due to lack of any “skunk”. It was sort of a Heineken/Yuengling hybrid. Easy drinking but nothing too great.
