Not a bad beer, reminds me somewhat of Heineken but lighter. I would rather have the lager from Yuengling but this is ok.

This pours a light straw gold with a fat head of foam that fell slowly enough and left spots fo lace. Nose is faint. Hardly any nose at all until it warms a bit and then you have faint grain, a touch of sweetness and a bit of grass. A faint lemon shows up late. Body is thin and watery but is’ well carbonated and has a nice bite. The flavors are a bit husky and while they do not really excite they do fill up the palate. There is a touch of buttery diacetyl on the palate that keeps this from finishing crisp and dry and rather leaves a bit of slickness that lingers a bit before it dries out eventually. Also a hint of cooked vegetable, green beans int he aftertaste. The lemon has a bit of tartness and a spritzy like character on the palate.

It has a bit of pepper in the very last moments of the aftertaste and I like the lager much better. Also some sour in the aftertaste.

Pours golden, head disappears quickly, little lacing. Smell skunk and corn. Light earthy/floral hops on palate. Finishes dry with lingering musty taste. Not much here.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of BoostIPA. Thanks! Pours a clear golden appearance with a disappearing white head. Skunky, herbal hoppy, grassy, a touch metallic aroma. Twangy, corny, metallic, skunky, cardboard flavor. Not good.

The 450th site rating for this one. Bottle, green glass with screw-cap, waited to find a place that would sell me a single because I sure wasn’t buying a six-pack. Clear yellow-gold. Nose is corny-sweet with just a hint of malt, no skunk but not exactly prancing and reveling in spirited freshness. Only lightly crisp, lightly bitter, with stale overtones and an almost ashen aftertaste. Hops are really herbals and substantially grassier than most I encounter. Light-medium body with a decent job of hiding alcohol, but there’s just a nastiness here that permeates every facet of flavor. So it sort of fails as a lawnmower beer.

Golden colored body, minimal head, no lacing. Skunky cereal and crackers, some citrus. Thin bodied, moderate carbonation, soft finish.

Lord chesterfield's Ale is a straw colored light bodied ale. It has a hoppy aroma that starts dry and finishes slightly bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Pours golden with a filmy white head. Nose is weird honey sweetness, grainy, grassy hay. Just very odd. Taste is real sweet and grainy, with a bit of soured malt. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated.

Mild spice character, light citrus, hop backbone. A fun golden ale from Yuengling preferable to the lager

Presentation: It was poured from a green 12oz bottle into a pint glass. The label has no other info. Appearance: It has a light golden amber body with good clarity and some visible carbonation. From the pour I got a light, just off white head of soapy big bubbles. This fades out quickly leaving just a thin lacy ring of foam around the edge of the glass. Smell: The aroma is light and thin. I can only pick up a slight cereal and mild grain scent. Taste/Palate: Its light bodied and simple like the aroma it has a thin cereal grain flavor with a very light touch of lemony citrus hops. These hops add a very light bitterness and acidity. Under all this there is a slight light-struck (skunk) presence. Notes: This is a one and done for me. I am a fan of Yuengling but this was a bit of a let down for me.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear gold color with a two-finger white head. Light bodied, buttery taste. Fairly clean finish. One of their better beers, but nothing spectacular.
