3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Picked up at a gas station in Zaynesville, OH. It poured an amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was of cereal, caramel malts and some hop notes. The taste was similar to the aroma with more cereal, light caramels, mild toffee, toast and some mild bitterness. Decent.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
This is an Oktoberfest Light. Everything about it is thin and bland. It looks okay but disappoints on aroma, taste, and mouthfeel. The requisite elements are there but not in adequate quantities. It’s not really significantly different from the regular Yuengling lager.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Plain nose. A bit of brown bread, caramel, some minerals, and a bit of candy. A touch of peach comes out later. Amber-orange, clear, with a low, fine head. Plain, thin, fruity flavor, a bit of apple, caramel, bread, minerally hops. Drinkable but a bit watery.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a clear pouring, copperish amber lager, with a thick off white head, a beautiful beer. Smooth, highly drinkable, and malty, which is exactly what an Octoberfest beer should be. This is reminiscent of the Sam adams version, which is equally as good and BETTER than some of the authentic German Marzens, if you ask me. Yuengling is making some really good seasonal offerings at a value that cant be beat. Damn good beer.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from Food Stop Rockville. Dark amber body with medium head. Nose is malty, toasty, caramel. Taste is also malts, caramel and spices. Thin, watery texture. Not great. A bit bland really and too sweet in the finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very good looking beer. Reddish appearance with decent head. Smell is pretty neutral, all I get is a bit of malt. Taste is slight malt, balanced, bready. Palate is solid. Good beer.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle, thanks sevenhokie! Sweet, grainy malt aroma with light caramel notes. Pours amber colored with a thin but retentive off white head that has good lacing. Starts with grain malt flavor with little depth. Finishes smooth and refreshing with some sweet caramel flavor, but watery and lacking the nice caramel sweetness of an Oktoberfest.
