3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 ounce bottle. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a clear amber/orange color with about an inch off-white head that stays around a while. There’s also a decent amount of lacing. The brew smells mostly like caramel and toasted malt, along with a little bit of toffee. It tastes like toasted and caramel malt, and also some earthy/grassy hops. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit slick with moderate carbonation. It’s easy enough to drink! I think it’s a solid Oktoberfest brew, and it’s priced right at $6.99 a six-pack.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Decent for the style which I admit is not my favorite. This pours amber with a small head. The aroma is bread, malt, grain, molasses and a bit of caramel. The flavor has the same with just a touch of hops for balance.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
This beer had plenty of potential, with a beautiful, dark amber pour and a fairly thick tan head. The aroma was very inviting, too, with plenty of caramel malt, lightly toasted bread and a hint of crisp hops. But that’s where the good traits in this beer end, unfortunately. The head doesn’t leave much lacing around the glass. The flavors aren’t very well balanced, with some sour notes toward the finish. I did get some toasted malts and light hops, but the sourness really overshadowed the good flavors. I really didn’t expect a whole lot from this beer, in the first place, and it aligned fairly well with those expectations.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from bottle clear amber color small off white head. Smells has some toasted malt, caramel. Taste toasted, roasted malts at first feels a bit thin, and has a sweet cereal like finish. Overall an easy to drink Oktoberfest I could have a few big steins of this season.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a dark amber with a short head. Looks nice. The aroma is slightly funky with a malty undertone. The taste is malty sweet, but fairly balanced. Finish is crisp and clean. This brew is well made and tastes great. Good quaffable, sessionable brew.

Bottle. Color a deep amber. Thin off-white head. Malty aroma, with hints of brown sugar. Flavor was malty, in caramel and sugary notes, rounded with a slight bitterness. Not bad, but not the better Marzen.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear dark amber...like maple syrup...with a medium tan head. Aroma is a bit muddled between dry leaves and a skunky/cheap hoppiness...kind of smells like chemical and vomit. Flavor recovers a bit with light caramel and dry leaves...light earthy bitterness. Mouthfeel medium/full with a dry, earthy finish.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
It pours clear, copper in color with a very thin head with no linger whatsoever. Modestly bitter taste with caramel hints in the aftertaste. It makes for a nice fall offering.

Beautiful Märzen aroma. I think it is its best quality. Head quickly vanishes. Nice Märzen taste, hint of molasses. Pleasing aftertaste. Overall great beer. Best Yuengling IMO.
