Bottle @ home, courtesy of BlackIPA (I think). Thanks. Pours a touch hazy, dark burnt orange appearance with a thin khaki head. A bit metallic, strong caramel malty, grassy, artificial aroma. Somewhat spicy, vanilla, rich caramel, toasted malty, corny, lightly fruity flavor. Jesus, this just tastes like Coors Banquet Oktoberfest with every corn note and metallic note offered. Fuck you.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a very thin fizzy head that quickly fades. Grainy malt aroma with a caramel finish and a faint bit of toastiness. The taste is caramel, cherry-like fruits, floral hops. Thin bodied.

My Bottom Line :
Shy, spicy hops are suggested within mildly toasted and caramelized cereals for a clean, perfectly serviceable lager.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A sheet of foam covers the clear copper.
-The hop spiciness and malt toastiness combine for interesting pumpkin seed allusions.
-Drinkability is very high.
-The dry, wooden finish is forgettable.

Bottle. Thx Steve!

This beer is a clear copper-amber color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of toasted malt, caramel and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Pretty much exactly what you would expect a Yuengling Oktoberfest to be. Average overall.

Bottle. Buttery toffee malt and hay aroma. Amber with large tan head. Sweet toffee malt and hay flavor. Very drinkable - tasty Oktoberfest beer, I could drink a few liters of this.

9/15/11. On tap in a pint glass. Clear amber pour, a bit on the light side, almost orange, with a creamy tan head that fades and laces a little bit. Very light aroma of grain, caramel, and not much else, honestly. Similarly light flavor of caramel and dusty grain tannins with a lingering roasty, almost tannic bitterness. Could be worse.

Draft. Pours amber orange with an off white head. Malty, with some light sweetness, and light toasted bready notes, followed by a toasted malty finish. Low bitterness throughout. Pretty good.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Cheap. Pours a clear ruby color with a medium white head. A light malty nose, some skunkiness. Light fruity malts, some bitter skunkyness, metallic. Tastes a lot like Yuengling! Haha. Fond memories.
