Not too shabby. Everything you’d expect from an oktoberfest, and reasonably priced. A little bland and thin, but a nice aroma, with a little spice. Not the best example of the style, but a fair one, and not my favorite Yuengling beer, but it is tasty. Light maltiness and a bit of yeast is apparent, which I love. Maybe some nondeScript nuts, perhaps hazelnuts. I’ll probably spring for another sixer or two of this $6.99 seasonal before it is gone, which means I think fairly highly of it. Still thankful that Yuengling began distributing in Ohio, and that we have begun to get their seasonals and lower-volume sellers. Yum! *edit* Good call by Berkshirejohn to say this is almost like a brown ale, because it is!

sweet malty smell and taste, fairly generic and a little thin on the body. Pretty much as expected. not bad and not special.

Very good looking beer. Reddish appearance with decent head. Smell is pretty neutral, all I get is a bit of malt. Taste is slight malt, balanced, bready. Palate is solid. Good beer.

Bottle, thanks sevenhokie! Sweet, grainy malt aroma with light caramel notes. Pours amber colored with a thin but retentive off white head that has good lacing. Starts with grain malt flavor with little depth. Finishes smooth and refreshing with some sweet caramel flavor, but watery and lacking the nice caramel sweetness of an Oktoberfest.

expected more taste- beer tastes watered down and only a hint of pumpkin. I think the hint would have been better if spicy. this lacks imagination and is not a very good brew

Draft @ DAS BEST Oktoberfest, Baltimore. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy finish with weak hints of caramel.

Vom Fass im Brauhaus. Bernsteinfarben, wenig Schaum. Röstmalz und Gerste in der Nase. Malziger Geschmack, kaum herb. Oktoberfestbier schmeckt anders. Das Bier ist aber ok.

bottle. Pours an amber color with small tan head. Faint sweet malty aroma. Straight caramel malt flavor. Light bodied. A bit more flavor would be nice, tastes a bit light for a marzen. Not bad though.

Nice floral malt aroma typical of the style. Pretty harvest color. Too watery and bland palate. Flavors were muted but malty with a hint of honey sweetness.

Bottle. Copper color - clear. Malty aroma. Decent enough but doesn’t compare to real Oktoberfests from Germany or US craft breweries.
