Aroma – Dark roast malt aroma very light with the hops and spices.
Appearance – Dark brown in color, light head and clear.
Flavor – Very intense flavor of porter and light beer mixed. This was a good mix of malts and hops and brewed styles.
Palate – Good Mouthfeel, decent texture with a nice dry finish.
Overall – A good mix of brewed beer this was a fun beer to drink I wish I only had more to try so I can really get the flavor. I will be sure to get more next time.

Jun 3, 2008 I still like the lager quite a bit more than this beer. I bought a six pack of this months ago and forgot the exact flavor but some of these ended as drain pours. Their lager is a better representation of the style, when this comes off as a bit cheaply done.

Jun 2, 2008 Excellent, reasonably priced ($4.99 per six pack) beer. Yuengling Lager is also a great choice. Yuengling is one of the most popular beers on tap for everyone in NJ/PA area for these reasons.

Dark brown pour with a thin head. Smell is lightly roasted cherries and malt. Flavor is super watery with a sweet tart hint of fruit and generic malt with a touch of dough. Fairly still and unmoving palate. Lack of balance and overall flavor or smell here.

May 31, 2008 Yuengling does pretty well for easily available beers, this isn’t bad at all really, for cheap beer it’s worth it.

May 23, 2008 Tasted 5/12/08. 12oz Can. Filtered with a dark brown hue with amber red highlights. Layer of beige head. Cola caramel cocoa aromas. Touch bready. Light to medium bodied. Graham cracker malts. Cocoa and toffee flavors. Mild hops. Crisp and smooth with a nice solid effervescence. Mellow and quite tasty. Slight spice. Easy and slightly sticky. Mild tartness. I found this to be almost a bock style, but still good drinking.

May 22, 2008 Pours a clear dark brown with a lofty tan head that collapses rapidy. Caramel and roast malts along with some corn graineyness in the aroma. Caramel and a hint of roast malts in the flavor along with some corn notes. Very little hop flavor. Light dry finish with just a hint of hop bittereness.

Pours black with a short lived head. Slightly less than opaque. Smell is soy sauce and roasty malt. Taste is soy, mostly and not good at all. Just roasty soy sauce and is undrinkable, really. Not enjoyable.
