2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Watery chocolate flavor. Very palletable and goes down smooth. Good macro porter. Good out of the can.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle. Pours a darkish brown. Malty sweet and similar in taste to a root beer. Itís drinkable but it ainít great. We now have Yuengling in New England so will be trying a few out though my expectations are low based on what Iíve tasted so far.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a dark amber to brown with a thickish, rocky khaki head that leaves some soapy lace. Nose involves lager yeast, light chocolate, and some nuttiness. Lightly sweet, somewhat bitter. Lighter bodied, active carb, fluffy in the mouth, a bit oily, with a twangy lager yeast finish. An ok brew, but ultimately not very exciting.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from a bottle into a glass.Much darker than I thought. Had been drinking right from the bottle so I didnít realize this. Malty sweet aroma. Ok taste. Not much there. Kind of reminds me of a porter I made. Easy drinking, but not much to it.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance has a pitch black colored body with barely any head and barely any lacing. There is no carbonation to be seen rising.
The smell has some light coffee with plum with some gentle maltiness here and there.
The taste is basically the same, and not showcasing anything spectacular.
The palate, it sits about a light to medium with nothing harsh on the tongue. I would say this was fairly drinkable.
Overall, well, Iím not exactly sure what to say other than Iím glad I tried it. I donít think Iíll come back to this, but its not exactly a bad beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Strong aroma of sweet malt, caramelized molasses, fades quickly. Ebony black in color, tan head disappears quickly. Sweetness in front is very pungent. Sweet chocolate, malt, and hints of toffee at the end. Finishes fairly smooth for a porter

Back in MA. Tap at Grill Next Door. Pours meduim amber with a beige head that rings the glass. Aroma is caramel, a touch of smoke. Taste follows nose. Slight mineral in the finish. Thin, drinks easy. Will be a go to beer at places that donít serve "craft".

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Slightly less carbonation with richer, deeper hop flavor than regular Yuengling lager. Nice dark amber color. Slightly heavy, lingering hoppy finish. Much better than your average American mass produced bottle beer.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle @ home, courtesy of Boooosters. Thanks. Pours a fairly clear orangish brown appearance with a brown head. Caramel / toasted malty, light chocolate, mild cardboard aroma. Slightly metallic and a bit stale. Burnt sugar / caramel, herbal, light chocolate flavor. Not the most cellarable beer in the world.
