I like this beer a lot. It’s a good brew for the winter time, but drinks all year long.

This is absolutely one of the best mixtures out there...which is probably why they started it and control it. It is comparable to Mississipi Mud...can’t tell which one is better because I had too many of these tonight. I do know that you cannot go wrong with the USA’s oldest...Yuengling.

Pours a medium brown. Light chocolate and a little coffee/caramel aroma. The flavor was rich and sweet. It is an average black and tan, but still one of Yuengling’s best brews.

I’m not going to go into the long review for this one, but seriously, for the money, there is no better brewery on the east coast than Yuengling. This is just a fantastic tasting and drinking beer, and it costs nothing. Somehow the black and tan manages to capture the best of both the lager and the porter, making it frankly one of the most drinkable dark beers out there. I’m sure this is what they were drinking at the USWA meetings back in the day. Yuengling should be this country’s biggest beer.

not a bad idea, i still don’t know if black and tan in a bottle is a good idea, this falls far short of what you can get at the bar

Not bad at all. Good complex flavor with a decent aroma to boot. One thing i didn’t like is I think this has a bit too much carbonation for such a "heavy" beer.

Nice dark brown color....good thick, tan head. Along the lines of a Guinness, but not quite there. Still very drinkable.
