A dark brew, smooth and mellow, with a slight caramel flavor.

A good firm head, an undescribeable appearance, a great taste with a wonderful palate, and some of the finest PA mixings of porter & premium...truly worth it.

Has this on draft at a Bennigans. This was the beer that started the micro beers for me. Over the years tis got way tho harsh for me. This one however was pretty good. It was a little creamy with a nice head to it. The flavor was not harsh at all.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2004 This is an easy to drink dark beer. It has a nice caramel/coffee flavor. It's lighter than other dark beers. I love drinking this stuff on tap. It's always a treat. This is by far my favorite Yuengling beer. I love this stuff.

Another very drinkable beer from Yuengling. Not the best (certainly nothing like the real thing), but pretty good for an inexpensive, premixed b&t.

Previewing this beer for my super bowl drinking pleasure. Seems just about right-just interesting enough, but easy to drink. Really small finish, and not as much dark flavor as color. Still, good for the price.

This is probably one of the worst porters. I know it's not a porter - there is no category for this one. This is a sort of beer to drink a lot of - with the porter twist. Decent, like all Yuengling beers, but I prefer the un-mixed porter.

A fine beer. Its light feel along with its mixture of caramel, coffee, and malt make it an easy beer to drink.

Sweet, light, easy to drink. I won"t turn it down. But, if this really is a porter then Michael Jackson is a black man.

Good color. Small head which disappears. Good flavor and great all-around drink from this nation"s oldest brewer. An excellent dark beer from a regional US brewer. The competition for dark beers is stiff.
