I just had this warm instead of ice cold, and it is much, much better than I previously thought. The taste is bolder and the aftertaste is more pronounced.

Yuengling’s B&T hads the right mix of flavors. Niether beers are ’heavy’ so the mix works out well. Also a good beer in a can, Especially in the 16 ounce tall boys.

Yuengling screwed the pooch on this beer. So sad, since their Porter and Traditional Lager are majestic brews, IMHO. This one’s too fizzy and bitter. Saranac’s B&T takes Yuengling to school.

A decent drink, but clearly not in the league of a guinness/bass black and tan. It is an ok drink if you do not have acees to a quality drink.

Upon noticing this on tap at the Norfolk Sheraton Waterside, I ordered it up. Needless to say, I was disappointed. This is maybe a step down from a Michelob Dark, and far from being as good as a Guiness/Bass Black and Tan.

A fine brew, strong yet surpisingly sensitive, like the lovable gay bodybuilder next door.

I don’t want to compare this to a Guiness/Bass, because I think I would rather have this beer. It is definitely more a porter than a black and tan, but it doesn’t matter because it’s good.

I am crazy about this beer. This is my preferred steak and potatoes companion. Good clean finish, not too heavy. Great beer overall!

This is the best of the yuengling beers. It is a great beer to accompany a meal. It’s not too sweet, and not at all bitter. Excellent palate.
