This is a good alternative to heavier stouts and porters. Not as crisp as lager, not as heavy as stout. The can version can be a bit metallic at first, but goes away after the first few sips. I drink this when I’m in the mood for something dark, but not too heavy. Can’t beat it for the price (in PA anyway). 60% porter, 40% lager, this beer tastes strongest at the end (almost bitter, but not quite), which may turn some people off.

I really like this combination of yuenglings porter and premium grades. I continue to enjoy it at every opportunity. It’s one of the beers I always come back to.

True dreck. Hints of soy sauce. Avoid at all costs, or if forced to drink, make sure it’s extremely chilled.

Had my first on tap several years ago in PA. It was wonderful (and good-looking in that tall glass). Hearty and tasty with a hint of caramel. This beer turned me on to trying many more dark / porter / stout type beers.

A mix of Yuengling’s Premium and Porter -- I prefer to mix my own with the Lager and the Porter.

Decent. Not a fan of bottled Black & Tans but his is okay. Not as sweet as some (because they use two lagers) but there’s still not enough oomph in it.
