2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a deep brown with a minimal tan head. Aromas of roasted malts. Taste has a dominant roasted malt flavor with some chocolate coming through. Nothing complex but also rather easy to drink on. Doesn’t really fit the label of being a "black and tan" but comes off as a decent porter or black lager style.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours dark brown. Nose is is mild roasty and chocolate malts. The taste though does possess a really pleasant and prominent chocolatey, toasty and lightly crackery malt character. Really, not a bad beer especially for a cold tall boy at $1.25.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: NOV 26, 2013 Pleasant dark roast aroma & flavor. Very smooth with a hint of the classic yuengling lager trashy after taste but not bad. Reminds me of michelob amber bock. Overall a very easy full bodied sessionable drinker.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle thanks to Jason. Pours a clear deep amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of dark grains with a touch or roasted malts and a hint of sweetness. Flavor starts with bread and dark grains with a hint of roast. Overall a bit thin.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear brown from the bottle with fluffy tan head that leaves light lace. Aroma is sweet maltiness, adjunct meets caramel. Taste follows, smooth and easy. Not bad, but not good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle into a nonic pint. Pours a nice dark caramel brown with a huge fluffy tan head. Nice caramel, creamy, roast aroma with hints of sugar. Taste is candi sugar, creamy roasted coffee, hints of chocolate. A bit of stale bread and plastic bring this one down. But pretty good boost 4 yr buck$$$.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass. The label has no other info.
Appearance: From the pour I got a small finger of light tan head which quickly fades to just a light ring of foam. This leaves a light lacing where the head once stood. Its body is dark brown with caramel colored highlights inside of it.
Smell: The aroma is fairly light overall but offers some toasted somewhat burnt malt notes with some bitter dark chocolate.
Taste/Palate: True to its aroma I pick up its heavily toasted character with some burnt notes, bitter dark chocolate. A light caramel like sweetness just barely comes though along with some pale bland Lager maltiness that just seems to thin out the darker half. The palate feels light and snappy but a little thin with mellow carbonation.
Notes: Overall its easy to drink with no off flavors but a little boring and very average.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours dark brown with a little tan fizz. Smells of mild caramel and hints of chocolate. Taste is mostly bland, hints of maltiness and mild bitterness. Light-to-medium bodied with a wet texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Yuengling Original Black & Tan finishes with a hint of bitterness.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a medium dark brown. Somewhat tin head. Some roasty malts but not much. Thin mouthfeel. Not really a porter. More like a mediocre brown ale. Finishes dry and thin.
