2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a clear pale yellow with a medium foamy white head. Aroma is faint...sweet, malty straw. Flavor follows suit...very mild and boring but certainly not offensive. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is abrupt.

fuck yeah, this shit is premium. Definitely lighter and cleaner in both appearance and flavor. Lightly crisp but also super grainy and lightly minerally. Not bad.

Still not sure the difference between this an Traditional. Doesn't seem to have as much flavor. Not as full a palate here. Meh.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Quart bottle from Al’s of Hampden. Pours a clear golden color with a large frothy off-white head that quickly fades. Aroma of grainy malts, very faint toasted notes and a bif of grass. The taste is sweet, grainy malts with faint grassy and fruity hops. Medium bodied.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: OCT 30, 2012 Bottle. Poured into glass usual light golden lager color, white head disappears fast. Aroma of sweet malt and corn. Taste is smooth, somewhat sweet and corn starchiness. Avoid the skunk, sour or metal taste of like lagers so I give this one the edge.

Decent beer better than Miller, Bud or Coors but nothing too special. Very dark amber. A solid drinking beer.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Sweet malt, grass, straw, some corn. Sessionable and at a decent price. A good beer to transition from mainstream lagers to more widely available microbrewed lagers and ales.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Even though this is technical a Pennsylvania beer I am lucky enough to have a brewery in my hometown of Tampa. One of the East coast’s hidden treasures, Yuengling is a refreshing break from the usual AB Inbev brews you would find in every corner of the country. It is a full body beer with nice amber hue. The aftertaste does linger a bit but it is not overpowering and is fairly priced at around $7 for a six pack.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
The aroma is weak and watery with light corn malt and metallic hops. The appearance is pale gold with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma and much better when it’s cold. The palate is thin. Overall a decent lager when it’s ice cold.

an upscale to what is the normal of the brew, but it still has a great amount of corn flavor and low hops. smooth and soft palate, not too exciting.
