0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
12 oz bottle.
It pours a pale gold with a short lived fizzy head that doesn’t leave any lacing. Usually the one thing macros get right is the appearance, not this one.
The smell is pretty bad even for macro standards, old sock, corn vomit, cardboard, and rotten fruit round out the smells.
The flavor is also incredibly weak. It is sour with a nasty corn note, some water, and a slight bit of hops.
Watery mouthfeel, bad aftertaste.
This beer sucks.

12oz twist-off bottle. Dark yellow, no head. Lots of fizz. Aroma of corn & cardboard. Flavor is of pale malts, Seems to be an ale version of the Original Lager. Not as good.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden lemon yellow in color. Thin fizzy head. Funky aroma and slight metallic tinge in the flavor followed by a slight sweet aftertaste. Basically it’s just what you would expect from an national macro lager.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
4/30/11. 16oz can. Clear apple juice colored pour with a fizzy off-white head that fades to a small ring instantly and disappears. Verrrry light aroma with a dash of nail polish and sweet corn. Sweet flavor of corn on the cob and pancake batter... almost a hint of chocolate as it warms. Blech.

0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
16oz can, yellow, tastes like Natural Light. Gross. Nothing. This is quite miserable, stick to the regular.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clearwater, Fl - 7-11, 16 oz can. Light golden pour, quickly dissipating white head. Slight wet bag essence to the aroma. Flavor is a bit tired, some unsweetened cereal graininess, a wee touch of sweet honey. Mouthfeel, fairly thin. Expected just a bit more from Yuengling.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Reviewed from notes.
Pours a light golden color with a white head and a bit of lacing. The nose brings some slight Noble hops as well as grain. The taste is grain and a bit if bread. Some slight bitterness in a lift body. Drinks okay and is much better than High Life and the like, but not too great.
Serving type: on-tap

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I would really like to taste test back to back with the regular, non-premium Yuengling lager. I have some suspicion that there isn’t much difference.
