3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle at Philadelphia Airport. A slightly hazy pale amber pour with a thin white head; expected Hefeweizen aroma of yeast, wheat and banana; a grainy body with a pleasant banan taste; and a clean, crisp finish. Lacking the spiceness of some German examples, but very drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours golden orange with a white head. Fruity and yeasty, with light spicy notes, moderate sweetness, and a quick yeasty finish. Not bad.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle). Appearance is classic hazy golden complexion with thick fluffy head. Lots of glass lacing. Flavor is a light wheat with banana and some mild clove. Pretty well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Actually not that bad, has a faint wheat aroma. Taste is a nice bit of citrus with some good wheat, decent enough.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy yellow with thinning white head. Mostly banana in the aroma, and sweet. Perhaps nostalgia makes me really appreciate this more than I might otherwise but then again, maybe not. America’s oldest brewery, PA local, plus this really is a nice surprise in a mostly authentic Yuengling way. This is a beer Yuengling should be especially proud to bring to the market.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Light on taste. Moderately pronounced banana flavor with a clove essence. Good color. Good clarity. Very little laceing. The head doesn’t stand up as much as the other styles. Still, its somewhat dry with a wheat aftertaste. Good thing its not overly sweet. That would certainly ruin the mouthfeel.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy, dark orange color with a very thin head. Thick, yeast aroma with banana and lemons in the background. Wheat taste with a hint of lemon zest and banana. Not too bad. But I prefer the Yuengling Lager.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Embossed, twistoff 12 oz. Misty. Belgian-esque aroma at first, but I guess it’s just wheat. Musty a bit. Garden variety wheat, body was a little limp. OK but light bittering. Refreshing at St. George Island on Memorial Day weekend. ABC Betton, en route to the beach.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From a bottle. Pours cloudy golden with a massive head. Aromas of clove, banana and cut grass. Flavors are clove and black pepper, a hint of stone fruits, grassy notes, banana. Finishes with lemon. Creamy mouthfeel. Actually not bad for this caliber of beer. Light on the hops and overall flavor.
