Hallertau hops and Bavarian-style top-fermenting yeast deliver a thick, creamy head with overtones of banana and clove esters. This authentic German weizen style beer, with a slight hazy appearance, concludes with a crisp finish.

Bottle to wheat beer glass. Pours a hazy yellow with a nice white head that dissipates in a moderate rate. Nice nose of grassy notes. Tastes a little hoppy bitter with similar grassy, lemon notes. Not bad.

bottled - aroma and flavor of banana and cloves. Cloudy yellow/golden color. A good summer beer. Deducting a point for their anti-union stance though.

Pours murky yellowish-brown with creamy white head. Aroma is banana, bubblegum, bready malts, light floral notes, and light lemon. Flavor is strong banana, cloves, dry malts, light fruit, light sweetness. Medium body and carbonation

Sent the Missus out for a case of beer for an end of summer pool party. Yuengling Summer Wheat was ladyís choice. Golden medium bodied hazy wheat. Aromas of banana, sweet citrus lemony flavors. Perfect beer for chilling in a Tommy Bahama chair on a hot afternoon.

Bottle from Walhole. Pours perhaps slightly darker than their lager... a light-medium amber. Baby head. Aroma of super glue fumes, grass, caramel. Flavor of light ripe banana, tiny bit of spice, not much else. Itís actually not bad, just not much to it.

Draft at The Irish Pol. Cloudy orange pour with white foam. Messy lace. A spoonful of Tang in a wheat beer. Navel oranges. Peach bananas. Creamsickle. Phenol nose. Just enough hops to bring in some bitterness. Somewhat juicy. Not awful but not great. Still betters many other standard Hefeweizens.

Definely tasted like a Hefeweizen with banana notes, though not as complex as most. Still a nice pleasant simple summer ale, good for the price I guess.

Pours a cloudy/hazy yellow golden color with white head. Bananas, cloves, and wheat on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with much of the same. Solid hefeweizen, I was surprised by this one, pretty good.

Tap at Renaissance in Foxboro. Hazy yellow pour with a big foamy white head. Nice aroma of clove and wheat. Taste is more muted, palate might be a little watery, but not bad.

Its OK. I bit too phenolic for my tastes, the clove is strong, banana is there too. Lacks the spritely character of better examples. And if you just want to swig out of the bottle in summer heat, itís weird, be better off with a lager.

Not bad. Crisp and drinkable, but lacking somewhat in the body I expect from a wheat beer. Passable.
