3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
In the Pennsylvania and New Jersey area, can't be beat for price vs quality. The beer I usually drink when out at bars.

Nice amber colored body, darker than your normal macro lager. Some caramel and hops in the aroma. Light bodied and lacking flavor overall, but some notes of caramel and a subtle malt nose gets this one more points than Bud.

1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pushes the borderline between macroswill and microbrewery. Mix a Bug Light with a high-quality brew, and I'd expect it to taste like this. Probably good to give as gifts to friends that haven't yet disocvered beer beyond BMC, but don't bother buying it for yourself.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAR 20, 2005 This pours a decent looking pale amber color. It has a small, fake-looking white head. The nose is weak, but pleasantly grassy. The tastes are very grassy, earthen, natural, and watery, but they are strangely also syrupy and lightly acidic. This fits most any low budget occasion, and it HAS, believe me, - keg after keg - to varying degrees of satisfaction.

Draught, at Swifts, East 4th St, New York. </br> Amber with a fine, shiny, white head. Corn syrup aroma and bitter hop flavour. Ok enough.

a good, cheap mini-macro lager! lots of CARAMEL with this beer. I saw caramel, smelled caramel and tasted caramel. it's a taste up from the macro beers.

On tap at the airport in Philly. Deep golden color. Mild aroma. Thin bodied. Mild flavor. Not a lot going on in here. Not awful

2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Had this last week for the first time. Deep golden color. Wonderful nose, a really nice aroma. Pours a thick, rich, creamy head.
A truely beautiful beer.
Then you taste it!
Little flavor. Drinks like a light beer. Only slight hoppyness. Almost no after-taste. Watery. If this beer tasted as good as it looked it'd be the greatest American beer ever. It's not.

For what it's worth ($4.25/6-pack), this is a must buy beer on the cheap. I'd drink it in all its fizzy, sweet, chugable goodness any day over a Lite, Rock, or Silver Bullet. Perfect to keep your hand cool at the next family picnic.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I was quite surprised that this was a drinkable cheap beer ($16+/case). I was travelling through Pennsylvania and wanted to bring home a mixed case of their beers (another story - what a hassle buying beer in PA is!!) Good golden color, clean inoffensive taste. A better beer than the major megaswills.
