Ahh. This beer is close to perfect. Love lagers and this one is tops. Bottles cans or on tap, can’t be beat.

Taste is malty and crisp with a slight hop finish.
My "go to" everyday drinking beer. I use to drive to Alabama from the southside of Atlanta to buy this stuff before it was available in Georgia.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can’t believe I haven’t rated till now. Been drinking this for decades off and on. Had it on tap and from bottles and cans. Not any perceptible difference. Pours a clear pale orange/amber with a minimal white head that barely sticks around. Has a corn and caramel aroma. Texture is watery and taste is sweet caramel malt, corn, a slight bit of hops and a little butteriness. Not an exceptional beer, but a solid regional that has a lot of appeal.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear copper pour with a nice off white head. Aroma is grainy with some caramel. Taste has a lot of malt sweetness with some plastic and cereal. Medium body. Not terrible.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a dark copper color with medium foamy head. Aromas of biscuits, grass and a little skunk. Flavours are similar with hints of copper. Tasty for a lager.

Draft. Pours brown orange with light white head that dissipates. Mild carbonation. Nice malt flavor with mild hoppness. One of my favorites. Good at lots not great at anything.

2.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can. Smells grainy, pours dark amber with a medium white head that dissipates after 30-60 seconds. Taste follows the smell and this beer is very drinkable with the slightest bitter aftertaste. I find this beer to be above average, but not much. Still, I have had far worse from bottles that promised much more.

I really like amber lagers. This beer is quite good despite its taste which is roasted-like tends to fade at the end of each swallow. But, it has a good amber color, low fuzz though. Its aroma is caramel-like, a bit roasted too.

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Good aroma of czech hops, stinky as it should be for the style. Same for the appearance, not pale but a nice amber hue. The rest of it is weak and watery and thats about it.
