This is a great refreshing lager on a warm day. Good out of the can or out of a bottle. Great beer for the price.

The first beer I’ve ever loved Yuengling Lager is a fairly medium to light bodied beer, very mild in hops, but very acceptable as a less filling mainstay beer.

This pours a clear, amber color with a slight off-white head. The aroma is mild with grains that puts off a little bit of a cheap musty beer smell. The taste is pretty bold with grains but not the most appealing to the taste buds. There is a little bit of a sour twang flavor in the middle that doesn’t appeal to me but gives Yuengling that distinct flavor that differs it from Bud and Miller products at generally the same price in the market place.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A silky smooth beer with just the right texture.....stronger than a regular "macro" beer with flavor, not as sweet as Budweiser or Miller, darker in color, but just a hint of aftertaste to keep you wanting another

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aromas: caramel, nuts, herbs, dough.
Appearance: minimal head, white foam, amber, cloudy, sparkling.
Taste: medium sweetness
Palate: medium body, lively carbonation, long finish.
YES! Last beer is my favorite beer to snag when I’m heading south of Michigan. No it’s not an amazing game changing beer, but it is always a pleasure to slug down some Yuengling. Had a pitcher of it with amazing wings in D.C. Never fails to make me happy.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: this beer pours with a smaller dark beige head that dissipates very quickly, the beer is a very nice clear amber color
Aroma: amber malt, nutty, not bad but very simple
Taste: some light grain, lightly roasted malt, pretty much non existent hops
Palate: lively carbonation, minimal aftertaste of malt, light mouthfeel
Overall: pretty good for a lager, I didn’t pick up any corn taste so I was pleasantly surprised by that, it is a little watered down for an amber

24 FL. OZ./1 pint 8 FL. OZ can purchased from Leary’s for $2.45. To undersized snifter, it pours a fizzy, amber yellow. Seemingly uncarbonated. Pretty weak. Aromas of corn, bell pepper skins, Lager yeast, and fried rice. Tastes the same with the addition of crushed Ibuprofen, chalk dust, and stale bread by swallow. I tried it; now I won’t have to.

Pale yellow with a mild malty aroma. Not a bad lager, but nothing too remarkable. Easy to drink.

On tap at restaurant in Delaware Water Gap. Not much fuzz about this one. Plain, simple lager that I wouldn’t be able to differ from all the other mass brewed pilsner styles out there. That said it is a thirst quenching and satisfying beer

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty light and watery. Not much in the aroma or taste. No hop presence to speak of. Biscuity aroma and flavor is about all that stands out. For what it is, it’s definitely drinkable. Good lawnmower beer. Better than any BMC offerings, in my opinion.
