12oz bottle while golfing. Sort of a golden amber color. Aroma of light fresh hops and malts. Taste is bland and not exciting. A little hop presence but mostly watery.

Average in taste, color and aroma. No head. If you like a light lager this is for you. If you prefer craft beer, move on and leave this on the shelf.

On draft. Pours clear amber. Not a lot of aroma, but some malt and corn. Taste is crisp. You cannot go wrong with this beer if you are looking for cheap lager.

My favorite crap beer. Extra points for being old school. Nice go-to lager. Sweet caramel notes. High carb

Pours a beautiful amber with good clarity and a head of loose but creamy foam that falls fast. Nose is enticing with a light sweet grain , a touch herbal and grass, plus a bit of light citrus faintly in the background. The taste is darn good. This beer has a mouthfeel that is light and thin but a flavor that is very full. The citrus stays int he background and the bitterness from the grass is light. The sweet grain comes close to caramel but stops appropriately and stays a crisp and very clean lager. Sweet, grassy and light with plenty of flavor. You could drink this all day.

Draft. Bright, hoppy carbonation and aroma. Nice amber color. Medium hop flavor. Very drinkable. Clean finish. A good standard for draft lager beer. Overall, vastly better than the typical mass produced American beer.

I poured a 12oz can into a mug. It was canned on 12/13/13 and came as part of a 12-pack for $12.99 ($1.08 per can or $0.09 per ounce).
Appearance: Beautiful copper/orange hue that’s completely clear with carbonation visible. Pours to a small, white, soapy head which mostly dissipates but does leave minor lacing on the glass.
Smell: Standard adjunct lager aroma, though noticeably sweeter than most of the genre. Hint of acetaldehyde, but nothing off-putting.
Taste: The best way to describe Yuengling would be "Budweiser done right." They’re quite close at the core: light-bodied lagers made with adjuncts. The difference being this beer is actually an amber lager and uses corn as an adjunct rather than rice. That gives it a bit of a "fizzy yellow beer" taste to be sure, but there’s also genuine malt flavor to be found here.
Much like an Oktoberfest there’s a little bit of caramel or toffee sweetness, plus trace nutty flavors and even some toasted malt. There is acetaldehyde, but the base brew does a fine job in obscuring it. Thankfully there’s no metallic or musty character to this brew. Unfortunately, there’s much in the way of hops, either. While I wouldn’t say this is a delicious palette, for what it is, Yuengling is superior to the competition in every way.
Drinkability: I’ll bet most people who drink Yuengling do it more for performance than aesthetic value, which is completely understandable. The mouthfeel is thin and crisp, but not especially "fizzy," making it a little smoother than the paler offerings by the bigger brewers. And at only 4.4% ABV it’s practically a "light beer," but with genuine taste. Definitely what I would consider a sessionable beer.

Still sitting by the fire and there is yet another less than perfect beer. Gotta at least drink enough to rate and move on. 12 ounce to pint. Pours Budweiser yellow. Huge head. No lacing. Smells like a high school party and beer. Tastes like a cheap lager. Again, fire makes everything better. Next!

Can. Clear copper. Taste is light and sweet. Lots of malt. Not a real deep beer. Basically it’s what you’d expect.
