COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An iconic American lager famous for its rich amber color and medium-bodied flavor - with a roasted caramel malt for a subtle sweetness and a combination of cluster and cascade hops, this true original delivers a well-balanced taste with very distinct character.

Average beer. Good for someone who lives in Michigan and isnít accessible often. Nice cheap beer.

Smelled, viewed, and consumed from a bottle (if I had asked for a glass in this establishment, I may have gotten my butt kicked). Standard lager fare, better malt flavor than most, refreshing.

bottle poured a yellow color with white head. again its a pale lager and for the aroma is mild malt and little hop action. flavor is pretty much pale lager style..though not offensive just not all that flavorful. it did have some caramel notes in it. I am sure its brewed to style but just not my cup of tea. I mean beer.

Not terrible. Fairly typical for a large-brewer beer. Better than whatís available from the mega-brewers. On tap with dinner at Joeís American in Boston, MA.

Itís crap. Smells worse than old style. On the plus side it is hand for simmering brats in.

Lager típica americana acobreada monetário límpida das Ambers. Suave, baixo teor de álcool, malte bem presente e amargor suave. Não surpreende, mas vai bem com o calor da florida. Típica da região. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light amber color topped with a medium frothy white head. There is a very mild malty aroma. The body is perfectly balanced, not sweet, finishing with nice bitterness. Definitely a good lager.

Tap at Pat OíBrienís in Orlando. Going in with really low expectations in the hope Iíll be pleasantly surprised. Deep golden color with a surprisingly persistent head. I donít appreciate the smell...kind of reminds me of malt liquor. And the taste...well...there will be no pleasant surprises. It sticks with the malt liquor theme. Hops nowhere in the vicinity. Zero complexity. Grain heavy taste and really sits heavy almost right away too. Honestly would have ordered the Bass again had I known what I signed up for. Please explain who drinks this option.

I mean really. Who doesnít want to try a beer from Americaís oldest brewery? Itís nothing fancy. Deep amber-orange with a nice head and good lacing. Very smooth and drinkable.

On tap. Pours a light copper with thin off-white head. Taste is roasty, bordering in smokey, with a sweet over-ripe banana. Thin mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
