COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An iconic American lager famous for its rich amber color and medium-bodied flavor - with a roasted caramel malt for a subtle sweetness and a combination of cluster and cascade hops, this true original delivers a well-balanced taste with very distinct character.

Transfer from BA review on 3-12-12 - Served in pint glass Appearance – Served a golden amber color with a medium white head. The head faded fast and gave way to little to no lacing. Smell – The aroma is very faint. There is a slight roast malt and a little bit of corn and caramel aroma. Taste- The taste is a mix of corn and a little roasted malt that persist the entire time. Up front a small amount of bitterness is detected, mainly roasted malt flavor in nature, but an ever so lighter bitter hop flavor is there as well. Toward the end, there is a light caramel flavor that works it way in, which with the malt and corn, finish the taste. Mouthfeel – Medium to light bodied with an average level of carbonation. Nothing special. Overall – It is very good for its price, but overall nothing really too spectacular. A good cheaper session or tailgating brew.

The color is a clear dark orange with a large white head that fades somewhat quickly, and the aroma blends caramel and bread malts with dough yeast. The taste is mildly sour and a touch sweet, and the palate fuses a slick texture, medium body, soft carbonation, and a fairly abrupt finish.

Pours light amber color with medium white head. Aromas are cereals, toasted malts, caramel, some lemon, with a hint of herbal hops. Medium carbonation, light body. Light bitter and malty finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great example of the pale lager. MAlty aroma. Caramel body with bittersweet aftertaste due to hops combination.

My favorite beer. A great beer from a great American company. Smooth and refreshing with a dark caramel color. Satisfying taste . Perfect carbonation.

This is a great refreshing lager on a warm day. Good out of the can or out of a bottle. Great beer for the price.

The first beer I’ve ever loved Yuengling Lager is a fairly medium to light bodied beer, very mild in hops, but very acceptable as a less filling mainstay beer.

This pours a clear, amber color with a slight off-white head. The aroma is mild with grains that puts off a little bit of a cheap musty beer smell. The taste is pretty bold with grains but not the most appealing to the taste buds. There is a little bit of a sour twang flavor in the middle that doesn’t appeal to me but gives Yuengling that distinct flavor that differs it from Bud and Miller products at generally the same price in the market place.
