I do love this beer. If given an option of a simple, easy drinking beer thatís not too hoppy or bitter, not too malty, not too sweet, not too rich, and yet still interesting enough to keep my attention through multiple beverages? It would certainly be Yuengling. Itís an absolute crying shame I canít get it at all in Texas.

Pint on draft at a local pizza parlor.
Pours with a well-sized, creamy and durable head over a clear deep amber body. Very good looking but it is downhill from here. The feel is OK, with a smooth creamy but overly thin body. The aroma has earthy hops which also bring a modicum of spiciness, plus a hint of baked bread from the malts. A suggestion of a metallic character that, fortunately, is missing in the taste.
Flavor: mild but earthy hops with a rather minimal malt base.
O: a bit more hoppy than the standard AB/Miller/Coors lager but, despite the darker color, lacking in malts.

The bottle scared me a bit. Itís green...usually green bottled beers are not my thing. When it was poured for me it had a beautiful color and aroma that was very subtle. This brew does not bite. It is smooth on the palate with little aftertaste. Great out of the bottle or from the tap. Tonight, it was my go-to after a terrible night of taste-testing.

Draft. Looks awesome but no aroma. Upfront is a burst if adjunct sugar that mellows out over the middle. In the back is a very light hop residue that ends in lager.

This is my go to beer. Perfect for any occasion. Darker amber color, off white head, good pour. It is great in the bottle or can. It has a pretty light taste with just a hint of caramel. Highly Recommended

I guess itís a step up from Natural Light, but thatís about it.
Wish I could return the last 5 bottles.

12 oz glass bottle. Pours a dark amber/brown with a lasting half finger of white foam. Nose is sweet malts and light earthy hops. Borderline corn adjunct sweet. Similar taste. Cereal grains, light caramel, and faint earthy hops. Finishes sweet. Watery and easy drinking. Not bad for what it is.
