Whenever Iím in regions of the country that carry this shit I go ahead and drink it. Most likely for some sentimental, experiential, unquantifiable reason. Sorta like how Iíll drink Ballantines if Iím in NYC. Anyhow, this beer is more or less really nothing to write home about. Iím happy for them that theyíre ífamily ownedí, but itís not like I feel particularly sorry for families that are already rich as fuck anyway. LIke, Iím SURE that whoever owns this shit is a millionaire, so lay off the touchy feely attempts to mess with my emotions over beer already. What I will say is that this beer DOES NOT suck, and that whenever I drink a dozen of them I have a headache that is way worse than if I drink a dozen natural lights, despite the two beers having comparable abv. the end.

Pours a light amber. Isnít anything truly special. The palate is somewhat bland. Itís a cheaper staple beer suitable for cookouts, etc.

I forgot I never rated this. Some light Malts but otherwise mediocrity incarnate. Really.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz can. Pours a clear caramel with a thin head that fades to nearly nothing. Aroma has hints of sweet grain, and faint glances of traditional hops. Taste is balanced and mild. Grains, traditional spicy/earthy hops, and a short aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. Clean and refreshing in the mouth. Overall very standard and non offensive. Not that good but drinkable by all.

It pours like Yuengling and smells like it too. Itís not "craft". But itís the oldest brewery in America goddammit. Drink it and like it!

On cask at a well known Florida theme park. Surprisingly good. Itís copper coloured with a decent head. Light body with good carbonation. Malts supply caramel and toffee while the hops give a touch of apricot.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A mid Amber coloured beer with a weak white head. The aroma is light, floral and fruity. Dry mouthfeel. The taste is quite fruity and floral, the fruitiness giving a touch of bitterness that the floral hop balances out, with the help of a background maltiness. A short finish. Draught @ Arthurís, Hoboken, New Jersey.

It is what it is. However, if I'm going to have a traditional lager this is the one I'm having. Pretty good for a Pilsner type lager.

My first job after college I moved to philly area a place Iíd never been and knew no one. My boss told me this was the beer all Pennsylvanians drank Iíd never heard of. 12 years later my father inlaw stocks this plenty and I always drink a few and finally decided to rate after probably hundreds of them under my belt. Light Brownish pour. Nose is grassy some malt. Tastes of malt, grass, caramel, cardboard. Thin watery.
