Drank from a can on a golf outing. This had a good malt base and a good crispness that you’d expect from a pale lager. Going from memory here so I can’t get much more detailed but it tasted really nice after having to drink Miller and Coors. Definitely an above average pale lager.

Pours amber with a small white head. Smells of yeast. Tastes of yeast, bitter, and hay. I am biased about this beer, as I am from Pennsylvania, and grew up drinking it. Love this lager and believe it is top when compared to other American lagers. Delicious and refreshing. Great grill beer.
2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 BlowOffTube (53) - Michigan, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Pours a clean clear copper with a thin white head. Smells of fermented old wet bread sitting in a closed garbage can and a hint of urine. Drinks sweet with the same taste as the smell with light carbonation. Better than bud or coors that’s for sure.

Pours amber with medium head. Malty frothy and delicious. A classic beer that I love drinking and one of the first things that I do when I come back to the east coast

An American Classic. A standard beer that is always reliable. Good bitterness balance for an average priced beer, but does not leave a clean palate. Full-bodied but not too filling.

Down in NC for vacation and I’ve been drinking these in between beers. And, maybe for the novelty, I’ve been enjoying them. Following the decision to rate one, I immediately regretted pouring it into a glass. It’s darker than I imagined; brown, albeit light and very translucent. It’s the smell that’s pretty rank. Smells like all the ones that you oughtta drink outta the vessel. Spent grain and carbonation - this one is missing the tin. It tastes... better than it smells. The least bit more viscosity and probably a few more scoops of grain per barrel. Which are good things. East Coast, you’ve won the ultra light & cheap lager round.

A wonderful brew! Slightly darker then most traditional lagers. Smells of roasted malts, easy drinking and great flavor with medium mouth feel.

On tap at the local Red Lobster in Fort Pierce for Mother’s Day meal - and in Billy’s honor. Pours orangey-red. Aroma has malts, bread, some earthiness. Taste follows, sweet malts with a bit of fruit. Shrug? Not a good one, but one to have for Bill.
