An iconic American lager famous for its rich amber color and medium-bodied flavor - with a roasted caramel malt for a subtle sweetness and a combination of cluster and cascade hops, this true original delivers a well-balanced taste with very distinct character.

A good Lager for those not interested in you "traditional" lagers. The Yuengling name carries a list of distinct tastes that goes further back then you or I could imaging. Overall it is atleast worth a try as it is a tasty social drink...plus its pretty cheap for the taste.

For $4 a six at the grocery, I really like this brew. It has been rare to find locally, but is getting easier to find on the shelves, which is good. I think Yuengling may replace Miller as my cheap go-to grocery beer, the price is better and the taste is a bit above. It’s very easy to drink, pretty mellow, and has a nice aftertaste. Not much aroma to rave about, the color is nice amber. Flavor is pretty good, IMO, not very bittter (not much hoppiness to this one), actually sweet, like caramel, and malty. Not overly complex, for sure, pretty simple flavors here, but it works, and the taste is good. Compared to the big macros, I’d rather pick this up any day. Goes great with a burger, or steak, or most anything really. For the price, it’s hard to complain about Yuengling!

This is the beer that is what I always thought of as a beer. Generic. Has all the "drinkability" of the American lights but with the added feature of taste. My favorite grilling beer.

Hey, it is what it is. Yuengling Lager has saved my taste buds more than I can count when I find myself in a dive. Definetly, one of my fall backs when the pickens are very slim.

This beer is awesome!!! It’s not cheap, but not too expensive (about 10 bucks a 12 pack in South Carolina) Over the past couple years it has evolved here, It’s a little hard to find in some states, but if you can ever find it, it’s definitely worth trying.

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2009 Ice cold and delicious. As it warms up it stays delicious. This is a beer I have in my refrigerator at least once a month. Very nice calm taste. It is basic beer. Nothing fancy. Delicious.

This beer is so overrated. I would rather drink my own spit. The aroma is lead. The attempt to hop this beer is terrible. Only lemon can save this brew.

If you want to go for a non-expensive beer then you can do so with Yuengling Traditional Lager without sacrificing much taste.

Nice amber, but flat looking with barely any head. Malty with a slight sour aftertaste (maybe from adjunct). Medium body, medium carb. Decent beer, but would benefit from higher quality ingredients. Beats the "big brands" but still i prefer other regional beers.
