I can’t get this beer in CT, because we suck in this state and charge too much taxes. I think this is the best macro brewed session beer. Nothing special, but just a good drink.

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2012 Bottled. Oh, Yuengling. One of my favorites, and a steal at the price. Can be found incredibly cheap. Does everything right and for the price, it’s a hell of a deal.
Aroma: Nice and neutral, slightly skunky but not offensive, slight hay hint
Appearence: Nice, dark tinted beer, frothy. Very frothy, if you love it like I do!
Taste: I love this beer because it’s so well balanced. A nice medium of dark and light, very crisp and a drinkable beer. Very drinkable. So neutral, love it
Palate: A bit fizzy but very drinkable. Doughy you can say.
Overall: Wonderful brew that rivals the more expensive lagers. A massive upgrade from macro

Great for the price. Takes the edge off the day better than more beers.

I like Lager Light better, but this is the Original. Anywhere in Eastern PA, South Jersey, just say gimme a Lager..this is it.

My wife likes to call this the redneck bud of Philly. Surprisingly, it's spread beyond PA and lots of other people like it. I'm like many others when I say I enjoy it for it's historical nature (Oldest Brewery in America). As a beer it's good for tailgating or shlosh drinking. It can leave you very bloated but can get you going for a long time without having to endure the obliteration you might get from a barley wine or something! Pleasing middle of the road beer with nothing strong about it. Very little hops. Not very malty. Can be considered sweet tasting by some folks with stronger bitter buds on the tongue. For a mass produced, Big American Brewery competitor I rank it on the top of the list with the Buds, Coors, Michs and such.

Good flavor, especially for the price. Sweet tones with a unique, smooth finish. A fine local brew for Southeastern PA.

Not bad for a Lager. I actually enjoyed a few years ago but now it is quite tiresome. Maybe this is because I live near the factory, or because I have experienced better beers. It is not bad for a premium lager, but it does give off a banana-like taste and flavor

This is an awesomely(yes awesomely) smooth beer that I think has a terrific flavor. Can’t say I’ve had a better mainstream lager.
