COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An iconic American lager famous for its rich amber color and medium-bodied flavor - with a roasted caramel malt for a subtle sweetness and a combination of cluster and cascade hops, this true original delivers a well-balanced taste with very distinct character.

This is by far one of the best beers that I have ever tasted.

Great for the price. Takes the edge off the day better than more beers.

I like Lager Light better, but this is the Original. Anywhere in Eastern PA, South Jersey, just say gimme a Lager..this is it.

My wife likes to call this the redneck bud of Philly. Surprisingly, it's spread beyond PA and lots of other people like it. I'm like many others when I say I enjoy it for it's historical nature (Oldest Brewery in America). As a beer it's good for tailgating or shlosh drinking. It can leave you very bloated but can get you going for a long time without having to endure the obliteration you might get from a barley wine or something! Pleasing middle of the road beer with nothing strong about it. Very little hops. Not very malty. Can be considered sweet tasting by some folks with stronger bitter buds on the tongue. For a mass produced, Big American Brewery competitor I rank it on the top of the list with the Buds, Coors, Michs and such.

This is an awesomely(yes awesomely) smooth beer that I think has a terrific flavor. Canít say Iíve had a better mainstream lager.

A very easy-downing beer, especially during the summer months. Overall, a very good lager, but it has to be fresh. I had some very rotten bottles and even bad drafts at some establishments. Youíll know if it is rotten, because it will taste of skunk juice. Very good, as long as you get it fresh.

Nice aroma, slighty hoppy but pleasant. Wonderful amber gold color. Head was thin, didnít last. Nice carbonation through the glass. First taste is smooth, very little bite. Finishes nutty. Good mouth feel, pops off the tongue.

Great beer to drink at the bar, especially if you compare it to the other choices many bars have (Bud, etc.). Not gonna bowl you over with flavor, but it gets the job done. Plus, great price/specials in PA.

Yuengling is my favorite beer. So many fond memories drinking lager and hanging out with friends. Just a great old standby
