NIce sweetness with strong malty backbone. Brown in color with thin white head. I get the caramel notes, but not really any hops. Okay beer.

Side by side comparison with Fordham helles lager, victory lager. ***** update at submarine veteran pignic. Yuengling on tap.....definatly better than bottle...ratings on taste aroma increased. 1.3 up to 2.2.

Pours a clean clear copper with a thin white head. Smells of fermented old wet bread sitting in a closed garbage can and a hint of urine. Drinks sweet with the same taste as the smell with light carbonation. Better than bud or coors that’s for sure.

Bottle into pint..caramel copper like color..aroma is pretty nondescript..caramel malt.bit of sweet..reminiscent of skunk..used to drink this all the time years before making the switch to higher offerings..after revisiting this now I know why..taste is very thin watery..not much going on..oh well iconic offering for the 4th..

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle. Pours amber in color with white head. Aroma of wheat, hops and malt. Has the typical smell of inexpensive, mass produced beer. The taste is watery, sweet and slightly bitter. Easy to go down with a bitter aftertaste. It’s a decent, cheap beer to bring to backyard cook-outs that will satisfy most beer drinkers.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Tall boy pours amber with a off white head that doesn’t hang around too long, actually leaves some lace. Aroma is a bit grainy, and unlike most pale lagers this has a bit off a spicy and grassy hop aroma, but its subtle. Taste is clean with mild grassy and spicy hop notes. Overall its about the most flavorful macro you can get around here.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Average in taste, color and aroma. No head. If you like a light lager this is for you. If you prefer craft beer, move on and leave this on the shelf.

24 FL. OZ./1 pint 8 FL. OZ can purchased from Leary’s for $2.45. To undersized snifter, it pours a fizzy, amber yellow. Seemingly uncarbonated. Pretty weak. Aromas of corn, bell pepper skins, Lager yeast, and fried rice. Tastes the same with the addition of crushed Ibuprofen, chalk dust, and stale bread by swallow. I tried it; now I won’t have to.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz. can. It pours a clear amber color with a fizzy off white head. Way darker than I thought it would be, almost more of an American dark lager or Vienna in appearance. The aroma has some corn, hints of raw dough and high boost. The flavor is flabby, doughy and has some old cardboard. No hops. This should be much drier for what it is, and honestly, I would probably take a few BMC lagers over this one. Not really offensive, just drab, pointless stuff.
