UPDATED: MAY 2, 2003 Similar to budweiser, but more skunky. You have to drink these fast.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
UPDATED: JAN 25, 2003 A pretty good lager. Good on a hot day. Has a malty taste but not too heavy. Overall a good lager. Has a somewhat sweet aftertaste. Creamy head, but doesn't hold up well. It's overall a good lager, but seems to suffer from the mass quantity syndrome of huge batches.

Bottle. Amber colored with a small white head that didn’t stick around. Aroma is faint but smells of grain and hay. Sweet grain flavor with a hint of malt and a bitter, astringent finish. Watery and heavily carbonated. I’ve had worse but this really wasn’t that impressive.

Bottled. Skunky, no head, clear, flavor impossible to discover, no finish; did I have a bad bottle? I mean, a lot of you top raters liked this sludge and I tend to trust you; but this was worse than Bud if you ask me. I’m getting suspicious of cult mainstream lagers/light ales, I’ll tell you!

Head is initially small, fizzy, off-white, fully diminishing. Body is clear light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, cereal), with a note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Undrinkable macro clone. Oh, and for what it's worth...purchased cold and seemingly fresh in a bomber-size brown bottle.

This is the most overrated beer in the US. It has a bitter strong aftertaste and is just near undrinkable. I detest having to drink this when it is the only beer around. Very popular at DC parties. Many times I’ve had to bring my own Miller Lite just to avoid drinking this crap.

Pours a dark orange with a large frothy white head. Strong aroma of hops and corn. Thin cornstarch taste on a watery body.

Definately not my favorite of Lagers (that goes to anheuser world lager). The aftertase seems to linger, the flavor is ok. Have had better, but also have had worse.

Bottle at a wedding- I hate this beer, and don’t understand why people like it so much. Super weird malty aroma and flavor. No discernable hop character. Begining to taste adjuncts in it, which is not strange considering its recently found popularity. Gross.
