COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An iconic American lager famous for its rich amber color and medium-bodied flavor - with a roasted caramel malt for a subtle sweetness and a combination of cluster and cascade hops, this true original delivers a well-balanced taste with very distinct character.

Another beer I have had many times, but had never rated. This rating was done using a 32 oz draft from a stand at the Baltimore Inner Harbor. The color is a rich amber-brown, with a short-lived, bubbly white head. The aroma has some grassy and earthy hops, and a bit of malt, and is not its strength. Flavor is pretty good, with a bit of sweetness, but mostly bitter with only a light sour tone. The beer is smooth with moderate carbonation, is almost creamy, and has slight fizzyness. Pretty good for a nationally produced beer, and a safe choice among other large-scale American competitors.

A good beer to drink when it’s hot outside. Yuengling traditional lager has a good aroma, and a great taste. This lager has a great hoppy taste, but not bitter.

Bottle. Pours dark amber. Aroma of malts. Tastes smooth. Definitely no complexity but would always choose this before a Bud or Coors.

Meh. If it was this or a big brewer American lager, I would choose this, but that’s about it. More malty than big brewer lagers, but no hops to speak of at all.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2013 This is my go to cheap beer, malty sweet and goes nicely with most tailgate foods!

Smooth amber beer. Good beer to drink on tap at the bar (it’s easy to spot out in a croud of glasses on a table). My usual beer at the bar, would definitely recommend at least trying this beer.

On draught at yuengling Cleveland airport - poors clear copper, no head. Nose if malt. Taste of diluted malt and club soda. Not much flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I had this at Harry Buffalo. It is very smooth, amber colored lager. I thought it was really good. I would definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 355 ml from Drinks of the World - Bern (CH). Limpid amber with a short off-white foam, very low crackling. Expressive nose of grain, barley, sage, bitter. The taste is on the grain, a little roasted, with a middle of the mouth of toffy and herbs. Rustic, foliage, sage tea, a bit flat.

Not bad for a lager, but pretty boring. Pours a nice amber, kind of nice. Not much of any smell, a little bit of fruit. Taste is slightly heavier then most lagers. A hint of fruit, not much else. Fine, but boring. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
