3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle to flute
Resin, tropical fruit, orange. Light amber colour, with a few particulates and a thin white head. The taste is bitter and a little sweet but ends with straight bitterness. Even at a year old, I was expecting.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Malty aromas upfront with a bit of sweet fruit coming through nicely.
The appearance is clear and crisp with not much of a head and no lacing.
Very Malty in taste so much so that you can barely get any hops. I guess it's a year old so I can't really judge the hoppiness.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy copper colour with very little head and mostly just a little white ring. Aroma is citrus and a sweet malty profile. Flavour is citrus and some sweet malt, high alcohol is quite evident which could be balanced better with some big hop oomph where the hops are a little week for an imperial and on the finish is a metallic taste(never been able to use metallic for a rating before)

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear golden orange color with a big white head that dissipates quickly and leaves little lace. Smells of citrus and sweet malts. Taste is sweet up tangerine grapefruit upfront and very sweet. Far too much unfermented grain. Finish is a boozy hoppiness.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a very clean, golden color with a modest, quick fading white head. Aroma permeates the room once poured with strong citrus nose, a modest amount of flowery/nectar aroma, a modest amount of pine is late in the nose along with some light caramel malt sweetness. Flavor is pretty good overall. The hops is strong but has a nice balance in the strength. Orange citrus notes abound through the entire sip with some honey like sweetness, light pine, modest grassy notes and pretty sweet malt finish. Body is modest with a slight dryness imparted from the high amount of hops and strong alcohol kick. Overall a good brew. The alcohol was a little on the high side and came through a bit stronger at the end creating a slightly hot, grain alcohol finish. Hops combination used in this brew were delicious.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Liquor Depot, Banff. It pours light orange, with a thin white head. The nose is sweet tangerine, orange, stickiness, pear and alcohol. The taste is sticky, citrus rind, tangerine, grapefruit, fruit polos, cough syrup and alcohol, with a lightly bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty boozy and bit too thin for my liking. Rough around the edges....

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to Reimer for this. Pours a clear gold with a small white ring. Aroma is small citrus hop aromas. Taste is moderate citrus hop flavouring with sweet malt but the finish is with a small metallic taste rather than the great hop bitterness. Not enough punch.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle - Bread, spice and alcohol on the nose. Really unusual and not what I would expect from a double IPA. Clear copper with a minimal head. Sweet malts, bread and hay to start. There is a back of the throat bitterness that follows and lingers. Not my cup of tea and not quite what I would expect from a 2xIPA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours out a bright golden with a fluffy off white head. The nose is sweet and pungently hopped with a bit of grass and spice. The middle has afloral and light grassy hop flavor. The finish isnt all that bitter, but a mild drying finish. Overall a good brew.
