Very nice Red. I had some of this a few years ago back in Whitehorse and thought I’d pick up a bottle to relive the memory. Tastes like theres a small amount of hops, very clean and a touch fruity. I find it very pleasant, definitely gives another reason to head up North.

Dark red colour, sweet flavour and aroma. Dried fruit, actually like a lot of Yukon beers have that essence to them. Quite enjoyable.

Wow! My first sip was of grotesque joy. This stuff seems to have that extreme edge that beer needs... the description says it all. It certainly has a "full" taste to it. Glad to be able to drink a beer from the Yukon territory.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Narnad (1342) - Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA - MAR 10, 2013
Pours a beautiful amber color with the perfect, low light tan creamy head to top it. Aroma has a great caramel malt sweetness balanced with a light citrus/grassy hops nose with a touch of apple, light cherry, some light nutty and spice at the tail end of the nose. Flavor starts off with a great toasted and caramel malt presence that really transitions to a spicy citrus/grassy hops flavor. Late in the beer tasting a bit of apple and a lot of ester sweetness creeps up to carry the flavors after the drink with a raisin flavor very late. Body feels full with a higher amount of carbonation giving it a very creamy feeling. Mouth feel carries a dryness to it after the drinks gone. Overall one of the best tasting ambers I have had (one style I typically don’t care for one bit). The sweetness is well balanced with a fantastic low bitterness but then the mouth feel adding a slight dryness really makes the beer pop. Great beer.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 andrewturba (456) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 10, 2013
Pours a clear copper colour with some off white head laving an average ring around the glass with little lace. Aromas of caramel, roasted malts, dried fruit and some sweetness. Flavours of toast, caramel, some dark dried fruits, and a medium dry finish with light bitterness. Well rounded beer.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Reimer96 (594) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 30, 2012
Pours a clear reddish amber with a frothy beige head that leaves some lace. Aroma is simple but a blast of caramel & dried fruits, kinda like a vienna. Taste is caramel, dried fruit, biscuit up front with a nice smooth earthy bitterness on the finish. Uo front it seems like a very full bodied beer but then borders on being very sessionable. Excellent beer for the style & a great balances of malts & hops.

Keg at the Hop In Brew Pub, Calgary. It pours deep ruby-amber, with a thick beige head. The nose is caramel, sweet dark fruit, red berry and earth. The taste is sweet red fruit, caramel, raisin, plum, light jam and earth, with a bitter-dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Easy drinking, if a little unexciting.
