patricks110 (142), Alberta, Canada Jul 17, 2008 An amazing dark amber colour with a medium off whtie coloured head. Aroma is of flowers, caramel and hints of mollasses and nuts. Taste is mostly malty and caramelly. Overall, this is a great beer. I am very impressed by Yukon brewing company and will have to try as many of their beers as I can.
fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 7, 2008 Draught at Hop In Brew Pub, Calgary Amber to dark amber color, creamy head. It has a soft creamy aroma, ashes, very light fruitness (the hop?). Soft mouthfeel too, creamy, with caramel flavor, a hint of quality hops, good bitterness. Pleasant. BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Jul 16, 2008 A decent little quaffer, could be very drinkable. Has a nice balance of caramel malt and citrus hops. Has a flowery fresh hop nose, and it just all works together. A nice little surprise. jjpm74 (2878), Connecticut, USA Mar 25, 2008 Pours red with a thin off white head. Smells malty and sweet with some sweet citrussy undertones and touches of roses. Tastes malty and slightly tarte with some peppery splashes and a semi earthy finish. Not bad. thoreaubred (43), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 22, 2008 Yukon Arctic Red - This is an average amber ale -- above average by Candian standards. I like it, but there are others I like better.
