Bonanza Brown Ale is brewed in the old school style, as a double decoction. This method results in a very malt forward flavor, perfect for this style of beer. Light in hopping but, full of silky malt smoothness, this beer is one of our most drinkable.

341ml bottle pours a deep amber color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and some lightly toasty notes. Taste is a caramel malty sweetness with a very light hop bitterness. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Very typical for the style and nothing really special.

Fruity esters with hints of caramel malt. Not much hop nose . Caramel notes with a nutty earth-like essence that reminds me of the fall leaves in my car heater. Has doughy yeast and caramel/toffee notes. Pours a ruby/brown with a thin white head that laces and lasts. Carbonation medium. Overall impression.. An American brown with very little hop character to speak of . Has some earthy notes and some caramel sweetness . Not a real sox knocker

From bottle, poured a nice deep ruby with an off-white head. Aroma was caramel and nutty. Went down smooth and tasted awesome. Not hoppy, not sweet, with a nice roasty finish. One of the best, most approachable browns I’ve had.

From bottle. Pours dark brown with a small white head. Nose is toasted malt, caramel, and chocolate. As I am partial to the darker beers I really enjoyed this beer. Rich and smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a very dark brown colour with a small off white ring around the glass. Aroma is caramel, toasty, nutty and light chocolate. Overall not too big of an aroma. Flavour is a bit watery, chocolate, caramel, moderately sweet and mild bitterness.

Chocolate brown. Some coffee notes. Toasted malt and a litte toffee in the medium bodied brew. Good drinkability but pretty average overall.

Bottle. Old-penny copper brown, clear, with a modest off white head that retains as a whispy memory and leaves no lace. Simple dark caramel aroma and flavour. Simple.
